This fighter first appeared in the pilot episode of the Buck Rogers television series starring Gil Gerard and Erin Gray.

The Alliance kit is cleanly cast in multiple resin colors. Parts include: main body, two engines, two wings, two nosecones, a solid canopy, six flaps, two landing gear bay doors, one landing gear, and two struts. A sheet of decals with the Earth Directorate markings is also included.

Builders wishing to have more detail can purchase a separate cockpit tub and canopy set from Federation Models. It's part number AM-25 and includes cockpit tub, two canopy sections, front instrument panel & bulkhead, rear instrument panel, two flight-stick assemblies, and two seatbacks.
