The Dixmude Class Shuttle Carrier (aka the Thru-Deck Carrier) kit is another conversion for the 1:1000 scale Polar Lights TOS USS Enterprise kit. As such, parts from the Polar Lights kit will be needed in order to complete the Dixmude.

The parts included in this kit are the secondary hull, secondary hull aft (shuttlebay section), impulse engine deck, interconnecting dorsal, and secondary hull forward sensor ring mount. From the Polar Lights kit, the builder will need to supply the following parts: upper and lower primary hull, warp nacelle pylons, warp nacelles, Bussard domes and interior sections, end caps, fins, intercooler sections, sensor dish and needle, the bridge dome, and the impulse engine.

The kit’s resin parts are cleanly cast in white resin and are free from voids and flash. The decal sheet includes windows, hull markings, banners, and names and registry numbers for two ships (USS Wasp and USS Zuikaku).
