This is a conversion kit that is used to convert the 1:537 AMT/Ertl USS Enterprise kit (the Refit from “Star Trek: The Motion Picture”) from the standard heavy cruiser to a triple-nacelled Federation Class Dreadnaught. This kit is only suitable for the AMT/Ertl kit and can’t be used on the Polar Lights kit issued after 2000.

The kit has a total of 13 vacuform parts: nacelle halves, dorsal connector halves, upper dorsal halves (for the third nacelle mount), updated bridge dome, horizontal warp pylon halves, pylon hull section, hangar bay doors, and a new engine detail piece.
