Another classic model from Glencoe Models, the Mars Liner is a reissue of an older kit that was first produced by Strombecker. The kit was issued in 1996 by Glencoe, and was reissued in 2010.

The parts are molded in white styrene and a sprue with clear windows is also included. Careful fitting must be done to ensure that the three parts of the main body fit properly, with the rounded sections each composing 1/3 of the body.

A sheet of waterslide decals is also provided, and has a choice of four markings: US Mars Force, NASA Saturn 7, Trans Solar Lines, and I.P.M.S. Liner.

The completed kit looks like it stands about 11 inches tall.
