The New Orleans class is listed as being a frigate, and it shares design elements with the Galaxy class.

This kit is cast in white resin that is well-detailed and is free from flash or voids. The kit parts include: main hull, secondary hull, two warp nacelle pylons with cast-in wire reinforcements, two warp nacelles, and three weapons pods. There is some slight warping of the nacelles, but nothing a dip in hot water won’t take care of.

A sheet of markings is provided, and includes three names and registry numbers (Kyushu, Rutledge, and Dallas). According to Memory Beta, the Kyushu was first identified in “Best of Both Worlds, Part II” following the Battle of Wolf 359. The Rutledge was mentioned in the TNG episode “The Wounded” and in the DS9 episode “Paradise”, where we learned about Miles O’Brien’s earlier career serving aboard her under Captain Benjamin Maxwell. There is no record of the USS Dallas (other than an Excelsior class ship in the video game Star Trek: Elite Force II).

Here is a photo of the filming model, after battle damage was applied:

The completed kit looks to be about 5 inches long by 3.75 inches wide (across the saucer section), give or take.
