This kit portrays Police Car No. 27 from the 1982 movie Blade Runner, which starred Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard.

Fujimi’s kit is molded in white styrene that is flash-free. A sprue of silver parts is included for the hubcaps, along with clear parts for the windows, yellow and blue parts for the police lights. Two other sprues of chrome detail parts are included, as well as a length of wire to represent the cables at the back of the car. Two metal axles and four rubber tires are also included, and four polycaps for attaching the tires.

This is a curbside model (no engine, only a solid-molded base plate representing the chassis. The interior is sparse, with only minimal detailing. The dashboard is made up of the builder’s choice of two different main display decals, and a small secondary decal. All of the other major exterior decals (printed by Cartograf) are provided.

A single page in the instructions is dedicated to decal placement and painting, and a wire-cutting guide is also provided. The only color illustration is the one included on the box top, which only shows the car from the front driver’s side (a quarter view).

Fujimi also released the Spinner (kit no. FUJ09132) and Deckard’s Sedan (kit no. FUJ09135), also in 1:24 scale. A review of the Spinner kit is available here on the website.

The completed model is about 7 inches long.
