This is a wonderful kit of Boba Fett by Kaiyodo, a company that released a number of other Star Wars vinyl kits in 1:6, including C-3PO, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, R2-D2, and a Stormtrooper.

The Kaiyodo kit is made of white vinyl and has a total of 38 parts. The parts have the standard flash that accompanies vinyl kits, and the parts are free from voids or bubbles. One neat feature is that the legs/waist section include full tabs that act as ankles and fit directly into the feet. This provides a solid connection with the feet, and allows the builder to position the feet and keep the figure balanced.

This is a beautiful model kit, and one that will make a great addition to a Star Wars display. A companion kit that would make a fantastic diorama is the 1:6 Han Solo in Carbonite from Begul, but it is a pretty rare kit.

Boba stands 11.5 inches tall when complete.

UPDATE: I ended up building this kit as my entry in the WonderFest 2014 model contest, and while it didn't win anything, it was a lot of fun to work on.
