The Larson Designs version of the Colonial Shuttle is the version from the original series that aired in the 1970’s, not from the more recent version of the show that was aired on the Sci-Fi Network.

The model is basic, and I mean BASIC. The three parts of the kit provide the main body of the shuttle, and the two aft engine nozzles. No landing gears are provided, and the two dish antenna seen on the top of the filming model are nonexistent. Still, the basic shape of the shuttle is correct, and it provides a decent starting point for someone wanting to add the missing details.

The parts are cast in white resin, the standard stuff that is seen with virtually every Larson Designs model.

The completed model is 3 inches long by about 1 inch wide. I am guessing on the scale, as none is listed, but the shuttle looks to be about half the size it should be when compared to the 1:72 Black Sun Viper Mk. II that I have built and sitting on one of my display shelves.
