This is a reissue of the old AMT/Ertl kit that was first released in 1981. The box markings show that the kit is by AMT/Ertl, but the actual production was done by RC2 (aka Racing Champions) which owns a lot of the old AMT/Ertl molds.

The kit is molded in light gray, and has about 60 parts that are free from flash and sink marks. The review sample was a Plus Pack that included paint, glue, and a brush.

About the only disappointment with the kit deals with the pilots, which are rather blobby and have a distinct lack of detail. I will probably end up resculpting them with Aves to provide more detail.

The completed kit measures about 8 inches long by 7.25 inches wide.
