IN BOX PREVIEW:

This is a very simple kit, but it’s a nice one, considering the lack of Cardassian ships in 1:2500 scale.

The kit’s single part is cast in white resin. There isn’t any flash apparent, and the sample kit is free from bubbles or voids.

No decals were included with the sample kit, but the box indicates that it is supposed to include waterslide decals.

BUILD-UP REVIEW:

Update: December 10, 2011

I ended up building this kit in about a weekend. It's not that it was difficult . . . it was mostly waiting for paint to dry! I was working on my Lakat Class kit at the same time, so it made sense.

I used a custom-mixed combination of Tamiya Flesh, Yellow-Green, and a bit of brown for the primary color. Detail painting was done with Tamiya Buff.

I used some of the PNT Models 1:2500 Alien Decals for the Cardassian logos. After everything was sealed under a coat of Future, I dusted it with black pastels to give the ship a battered look. A second coat of Future sealed the pastels, and then a final topcoat of Testor's DullCote completed the build.
