This is another kit in the Robotech/Macross line that has been reissued over the years under various names. In the Robotech universe it is also known as the Raider X, and it was later adapted to the Battletech universe, where it appeared as the Rifleman.

The kit is molded in brownish-green and includes a simple sheet of decals. Overall the kit is very simple, and can probably be assembled and finished in a day. It would make a good weekend project for a modeler seeking to do something different.

While it has been discontinued through HobbyLink Japan, the kit can be found frequently on eBay, which is where the review sample was obtained in 2006.
