The X-3 Stilleto was designed to determine the efficiency of turbojets and small-span double-edge airfoils at speeds in excess of 2,000 miles per hour. The plane was first flown in 1952.

The kit’s 34 parts are molded in white and clear styrene. The kit offers the option of displaying with landing gears deployed, or in flight configuration on a clear stand. A fold-out instruction sheet with 8 steps is included. The kit also has a single sheet of decals that were clearly printed and were in-register.

The completed kit is about 16 inches long and has a wingspan of 5.75 inches.
